“Toddler Tumble” and "Toddler Gymnasts" Programs

Our accompaniment Toddler Tumble program and drop-off Toddler Gymnasts program are specifically tailored to children ages 14 – 36 months!  These classes generally run for approx. 60 minutes in a 10 week session.

*Please Note- age groups are flexible!  Placement into a group is dependent on both age and developmental ability.

Toddler Tumble is specially designed to balance parental/adult participation with child autonomy and independence.  It is a time for child and parent (or anyone special in the child’s life) to learn and play together.  At the same time, it is an opportunity for the children to begin trying new activities and meeting new people while still feeling secure with their loved ones at the sideline.  All the while we will be exploring the various concepts of music, movement, tumbling, and more

Toddler Gymnasts is the next step in our tumbling/gymnastics series.  Children who are ready to separate and transition to instruction in a group setting without their parents/guardians may enroll in our unique drop-off class.

Both our Toddler Tumble and Toddler Gymnasts Classes follow a similar structure:
~ We begin each class with the same format so that the children learn to know what is coming next. This facilitates development of his/her self-esteem through the idea of routine or consistency. Repetition at this age is extremely important for a child’s development, and is consistent with a nursery school setting.
~ Verbal attendance is taken at the beginning of every class which aides in name recognition and development of the classroom community.
~ We use instruments to teach the concepts of rhythmic motion, body parts, and “directionals” (up, down, side, behind, etc).  At the same time we practice sequencing, patterns, fine/gross motor development and hand-eye coordination.
~ Music is used in every facet of our program to enhance the learning process and give children ownership of the learning process.  Children become more engaged in the learning activities!
We utilize a “circuit” structure to promote clockwise movement and reading readiness skills.
~ A parachute is used for group cooperation, color awareness, hand/eye coordination, and reinforcement of “directionals”.
~ Tumbling teaches spatial awareness through forward, backward, and lateral movements.  It promotes self-awareness and mastery of the body’s movement.
~ Concepts such as “over”, “under”, and “through” as well as movements such as “tip toe”, “galloping” and “jumping” are reinforced throughout the program to develop a solid foundation that can be used as a building block for the future.
~ There is also a social play component to each of our classes which enables the children to explore and learn in our innovative Preschool Classroom.  This allows the children and teachers to form closer relationships in a free-play environment.  We often include an art/sensory play activity in the classroom as well, dependent on the group.

“Play With Me" Program
Our accompaniment Play With Me program is specifically tailored to children in one of two approximate age groups: Movers & Shakers (4-8 month old children who are not yet fully mobile) and Walkers & Rollers (6-16 month old children who are just starting to become more mobile)!  These classes generally run for approx. 45 minutes in a 10 week session.

*Please Note- age groups above are flexible!  Placement into a group is dependent on both age and developmental ability.

Play With Me is designed as an adult/child participation program.  It is a special time for your child and you or someone special in their lives to further develop a relationship as well as cultivate relationships with other children through movement and safe tumbling techniques.

Our preschool class exemplifies our philosophy of hands-on, meaningful learning where the children are deeply involved throughout the entire process.  Curricular practices are inspired by both the HighScope Curriculum and the Creative Curriculum which offer a balance of teacher and child guided activity.  What's more, each day we extend learning into our innovative Movement Room where children are taught a variety of activities that nurture the body and spirit such as tumbling, music,  yoga, floor gymnastics and more!  To further inspire our children, we incorporate Community Service into our lessons.

Our school age program features regular, consistent care before/after school as well as during holiday/summer breaks for our working parents while also offering a range of enrichment activities.  Our after school care exposes children to a different enrichment activity each afternoon over the course of the year following one/two-week cycles.  Activities include tumbling, floor gymnastics, sports skills, yoga, art, cooking, movement, and more!  Children are encouraged to try new things and discover new hobbies and passions!   We also keep our school age children involved in the larger community.

Please contact us for current tuition rates and schedule.  We will run additional classes and add classes to the schedule upon request with enough interest as well!

Active, involved children maintain a well rounded and healthier lifestyle.

Our Enrichment Classes are specially designed to introduce the children in our community to a variety of extracurricular activities and hopefully foster an interest (or even passion!) for them!  We maintain a non-competitive, stress-free environment where children feel comfortable trying new things and build confidence in their individual abilities.  Our programs aim to keep children fit and active- Body, Mind, and Soul!  Our classes build self-esteem, foster a sense of community, and add to each individual child’s repertoire of skills at a pace most appropriate for him/her.

In our programs, children can choose to receive progressive instruction and have fun learning the foundations of any combination of activities such as:

Cooking

Art

Music and Movement

Yoga

Tumbling

Floor Gymnastics

Dance
Sports Skills and Team Building

OR- our "Trial Class" which  exposes the children to many of the activities listed above by offering a different enrichment activity each week.  This way, the children are able to choose the topics they are most interested in for the following session.

*Class offerings are subject to interest/enrollment per session.  We cannot guarantee that specific classes are running in the session of interest.

Please contact us for current tuition rates.  Tuition includes two, healthy snacks per day in accordance with our Nutrition Policy (note- school age children often opt out of the morning snack but the snack will always be offered to them)
